Pointe-Claire, Quebec – January 4, 2024. Canada-based Medicom Group (“Medicom”), a world leader in the production and distribution of infection prevention and control solutions, announced that Inés Sira has been named President of its North American replacing Gary Steinberg who will be rejoining Medicom’s Advisory Board and acting in a strategic advisory capacity.

As an executive with over two decades of end-to-end business leadership experience in Fortune 200 and private companies, Inés Sira joins Medicom with a strong background in business strategy development, commercialization, and operational execution. She also brings a strong track record in accelerating growth in the medical and industrial segments.

Prior to joining Medicom, Inés led various business areas at 3M, where she was accountable for the P&L of global businesses in markets such as safety, aerospace, and health care. She also held senior regional leadership roles in Latin America and APAC, where she was responsible for strategic initiatives to enhance productivity and accelerate growth. Inés was also the Safety Global Vice President at Wesco, and President of the Fluid Conveyance business at Danfoss.

Inés holds an MBA from the University of Minnesota, and MA in Administration of Non-Profit Organizations from New York University.
She is a member of the Jeremiah Program National Board of Directors, as the Co-Chair of the Board’s Governance Committee.
